ABOUT ROGER

Hi! I'm Roger DeWitt, MCAC, PCC, MAPP – I'm passionate about empowering artists and creatives to build extraordinary and flourishing lives and careers. I love supporting them to unlock their true potential, leap past blocks and barriers, attract and work toward their dreams, and lay the groundwork so that luck and synchronicity can find them. Together, my clients and I navigate this voyage quickly and with amazing simplicity, all while relishing an extraordinary level of fun and laughter.

As a seasoned and credentialed coach with a 22+ year track record of success (Master Certified ADHD Coach and Professional Certified Coach), I've educated, guided, and mentored literally thousands of Life and ADHD coaches across the globe. Serving as a senior trainer at the ADD Coach Academy, I'm an integral part of the largest and most comprehensive ADHD coach training program in the world, accredited by the ICF and PAAC – – the credentialing authorities in Life Coaching and ADHD Coaching Professions.

My Approach to Coaching

As a coach, I'm creative, intuitive, and passionate about how the brain works in creating our experience.  My style's direct, but always compassionate, fun and irreverent yet kind, and, as a certified smart-ass, there will be laughter!

As a true believer in lifelong learning, I earned a Master of Applied Positive Psychology degree at the University of Pennsylvania at 57 years young. This decision ranks as the second-best in my life, only surpassed by my marriage to my amazing and handsome husband. After graduation, I was asked to become an Assistant Instructor for the same program, collaborating with the renowned founder of positive psychology, Martin Seligman.

My History

My background is steeped in the performing arts. My father was a symphonic musician during the big band era, and my mother was a versatile actress known for her iconic voice work in cartoons. One of my brothers is an Oscar-nominated, Emmy award-winning film editor… so, with all that, I was literally preordained to a life in the arts. Embracing my own artistic passion, I moved to New York in 1991 and enjoyed a rich career that spanned national tours, Broadway, TV, film, cartoons, and regional theater. On occasion, even now you might see me tread the boards while managing a thriving full-time coaching practice.

Today, I enjoy life with my incredible husband and our opinionated Norwich Terrier, splitting their time between New York City and Hudson, NY.

He made me think about what I really want to do with my life

Roger was as kind and supportive a coach as I could ever have hoped to work with. He would always push me to go a little bit further both on the homework he gave me and in our sessions. He made me think about what I really wanted to do with my life; helping me figure out that my calling was, in fact, to be a teacher; and for that I will be eternally grateful.
